How long does a website redesign take?+
Standard redesigns deliver in 2-3 weeks from kickoff. Ecommerce redesigns run 3-4 weeks. Enterprise projects are scoped during the free discovery call. Timelines are committed in writing and tracked weekly.
Will my Google rankings drop after a redesign?+
Not when the redesign is done correctly. Most ranking loss after redesigns comes from URL changes without 301 redirects, removed content, or broken internal linking. We build a complete redirect map, preserve every URL or 301 it to the closest equivalent, and rebuild schema markup before launch. Most clients see ranking variance of 1-3 positions in the first month with full recovery by week 4.
Can I keep my existing CMS?+
Yes. Most clients stay on WordPress or Shopify and we redesign within that platform. If your current stack is the bottleneck (slow, fragile, hard to update), we can recommend a platform change as part of the redesign — but it's never required.
How much does a website redesign cost?+
Standard redesigns start at $4,997 (fixed). Ecommerce redesigns start at $9,997. Enterprise projects are custom-quoted after the free discovery call. All quotes are fixed-price with no hourly billing.
Do you handle the copy, or do I write it?+
Standard scope includes light copy editing and rewriting for the new structure. Full copywriting from scratch is a separate engagement we can quote alongside, or you can supply your own. We'll always tell you which approach gives the best result for your project.
What about Core Web Vitals?+
Every redesign ships with a Lighthouse mobile target of ≥90 and Core Web Vitals in the Good range (LCP ≤2.5s, CLS ≤0.05, INP ≤200ms). Real-user monitoring is configured at launch so you can see real-world performance, not just lab scores.
What if I'm not happy with the design direction?+
Two rounds of revisions are included on visual design. If a third round is needed, we bill hourly with your approval. If at any point you feel the project isn't going the right way, we'll stop work, hand off all files, and refund the unused portion of your deposit.
Do you handle accessibility (ADA / WCAG)?+
Yes. WCAG 2.2 AA is our target for every redesign. We test contrast, keyboard navigation, screen-reader landmarks, and form labeling pre-launch. If you have specific compliance requirements (Section 508, EN 301 549), mention them during the discovery call.
